1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Chess Alerts, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using the service.

2. Use License

Our service provides rating monitoring and notifications. You may use this information for personal, non-commercial purposes or for your own coaching business. You may not attempt to reverse engineer or automate the Chess Alerts platform itself.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account, you must provide accurate information. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate our usage policies.

4. Service Limitations

Chess Alerts depends on third-party sources (US Chess, FIDE, etc.). While we strive for 100% accuracy and uptime, we cannot guarantee that data provided by these sources will always be available or up-to-date.

Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we handle your information.

Data Collection

We collect your email address for authentication purposes via Supabase. We also store the chess profile IDs you choose to monitor to provide the notification service.

Service Providers

We use trusted third-party services to operate:

• Supabase: For authentication and database management.
• Paddle: For secure payment processing and subscription management.
• WhatsApp/Telegram: To deliver notifications per your configuration.

Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data. Your payment information is handled directly by Paddle and never touches our servers.

We want you to be satisfied with Chess Alerts Pro.

Refunds & Billing

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. All refunds are handled in accordance with Paddle's Consumer Terms.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard. You will continue to have Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
